Who we are, and what we do

Kelowna ATV Tours isn't your typical ATV tour company. We're passionate off-road enthusiasts who spend our own time exploring the mountains and backcountry, and we've built our tours around the experiences we would want ourselves. After experiencing other tours and hearing what riders disliked, we created something different. When you ride with us, you'll quickly understand why so many guests say, "This is nothing like any ATV tour I've done before." Forget large mixed groups, crowded trails, and basic utility ATVs. With Kelowna ATV Tours, you ride exclusively with your own family or friends, creating a more personal and enjoyable experience. We provide industry-leading Polaris Sportsman ATVs built for real off-road adventures, not just cruising down smooth dirt roads. Our experienced guides tailor each tour to your skill level and what you want from the day. New to ATVing? We'll teach you the fundamentals and guide you on trails that match your comfort level. Experienced rider? We'll take you beyond the ordinary and show you some of the best backcountry trails the Okanagan has to offer. If you're looking for a true off-road adventure, Kelowna ATV Tours delivers an experience that's a step above the rest.

How it works!

We have a pre-determined meeting location set at the base of the mountains. After booking your tour you will receive your driving directions in your confirmation email. You MUST read this email! Please meet us there 15 mins before your tour time. In addition to your ATV, we provide helmet, goggles and gloves for you to wear for your adventure! Before your tour we will collect your damage deposit by cash or credit card and your deposit will automatically be returned to you when your trip has been completed with no damage to report!

Can we book a same day tour?

Because we have to bring equipment to a remote area, our online booking page requires 24hrs notice so that we can prepare the necessary amount of equipment to be loaded and brought out to our meeting location. Alternatively, you can call 778 594 6602 to inquire if a same day booking is possible, as we may already be out on the trail with other clients and be able to accommodate your tour into a time slot later in the day.

Can two people share an ATV?

Every person on a tour is required to operate their own ATV. Almost all our ATVs are legal 1 seater ATVs. For insurance and safety purposes we do not allow people to double on 1 seater ATV. We do have some legal 2-seater ATVS that we do rent for those looking to carry a passenger. The option to add a passenger will show up when making your booking.

Can my Teenager drive an ATV?

Our operating age for tours is 25 years old for groups. However, Drivers between the ages of 18 and 24 may operate their own ATV only when participating in a private family tour, provided that:

  • Their parent or legal guardian is participating in the tour.
  • The parent or guardian's credit card is used for the damage deposit.
  • The driver holds a valid driver's license.

Participants under 18 years of age are not permitted to operate an ATV. The parent or guardian must fill out and sign the “MINOR” section of the waiver for anyone under the age of 18 years old. You can find this option at the bottom of the waiver

Does the tour get cancelled if its raining?

No, tours are not cancelled due to rain. All our ATVS are equipped to ride in inclement weather, just be sure to be dressed for the weather. You may contact us for any inquiries about current trail conditions and what equipment is recommended!
